The Utah Championship presented by Utah Sports Commission is a professional golf tournament on the Web.com Tour. It is played at the Willow Creek Country Club in Sandy, Utah. One of the original tournaments of the 1990 Ben Hogan Tour as the Utah Classic, the tournament has been played every year but two (1997, 1998). The 2012 purse was $550,000, with $99,000 going to the winner.
Welcome to the 2012 Utah Championship, held at beautiful Willow Creek Country Club. Entering the eighth year in its partnership with the PGA TOUR as host organization for this annual Nationwide Tour stop, the Utah Sports Commission is proud of the growth the Utah Championship has experienced over the past few years.
We would like to say thank you to the hundreds of volunteers and the corporate partnerships we have worked hard to create, who make this tournament possible. Without the financial support and tireless work of these individuals this event would not succeed to the magnitude that it does. In addition, we would like to thank all the golf fans and spectators who make this tournament more of an event as it continues to grow. Your support allows the Utah Championship to continue leaving its mark on the Nationwide Tour as well as providing the citizens of Utah the opportunity to enjoy watching the future stars of the PGA TOUR.
